Keys2Work

Keys2Work is a skills-based career development and job matching system that matches persons with solid foundational skills with jobs likely to require those skills. Keys2Work uses the Work Keys assessment from ACT to measure how students' and job seekers' academic abilities match against the skills demands of the workplace.

Keys2Work uses Work Keys assessments to determine the general skill requirements required for various occupations so that you can determine for yourself how ready you are to enter a job and to target areas, perhaps, for which you may need additional training. For qualified candidates, the Keys2Work referral system will match you to employers interested in people with your skills. As a referred candidate, you tell the employer that you are likely to possess a solid foundation of skills needed to do a job similar to their own.

To date over 600 Gear Up students at Henninger and Fowler High Schools have taken the Work Keys assessment.
